PALACIO VERGARA - MUSEO DE BELLAS ARTES
A 3,000 m² palace displaying works donated by wealthy collectors and sumptuous European furniture...
An extraordinary place, this 3,000 m² palace was built using lighter materials than those usually used for Venetian palaces (marble, stone and bronze). It has been renovated and reopened to visitors since 2022. Works donated by wealthy collectors are displayed on the first floor. On the second floor, in the rooms housing the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, visitors can admire sumptuous furniture of European, Rococo, Louis XVI and Empire origin.
