Peaceful, spacious beach open to the sea, with constant waves, constant wind, crafts and books.
Located on Avenida San Martín and almost 2.5 km long, it is not as popular with swimmers as Las Salinas beach because of its open sea location, constant waves, and constant (or almost constant) wind. Chilean families usually gather there to sunbathe and chat on the beach. Rather peaceful and rather spacious, it is more the beach of the locals. There are stalls selling handicrafts and books, giving it a cultural touch, as well as entertainment for the little ones.
