MUSÉE MARITIME DU QUÉBEC
Maritime museum with animations and permanent exhibitions on Captain Bernier and the St. Lawrence River.
The village of L'Islet has provided Quebec with great navigators, including one of the most famous of them, Captain Bernier, a pioneer of polar exploration in Canada and a legendary navigator. One of the permanent exhibitions is dedicated to him. You will also pass by the boat house and visit an icebreaker (audio tour available). There are also restored museum ships, a permanent exhibition on the St. Lawrence River, an open-air exhibition in the new river park, family activities, etc.
