Youth hostel with camping sites, café-resto, bar with terrace and petanque court.

When a group of friends decided to renovate a 1960s motel and turn it into a gourmet and vacation destination, they came up with Le Camp de Base. On one side, the youth hostel with its dormitory, private rooms and camping sites, plus numerous services (kitchen and common areas, etc.). On the other, the café-resto and its tasty dishes incorporating home-smoked meats and fish, not forgetting the bar with terrace and petanque court. Bonus: a great cultural and musical program in summer. We recommend it!

Quel endroit charmant pour aller passer un peu de temps pour se remplir l'estomac, bel accueil chaleureux, service tout aussi chaleureux et impeccable. La bouffe était bonne, goûteuse, epices parfaitement balancées, si le nom des plats semblent ordinaires, c'était en fait extraordinaire. Les goûts étaient vraiment là, autant la salade que le shish taouk. Il vous apporte un trio de ketchup, mayo à l'ail et Mayo épicée, quelle simplicité mais tellement apprécié pas de besoin de demander ces bons condiments pour accompagner nos frites. Top la gang de la base!!! Ah oui, j'oubliais, il y a aussi la paille, réutilisable. merci

Pfffttt what can I say this place is five star all around ,beautiful village very touristique, there's annual ultramarathon events, you can bike ride the picturesque valleys of the Fjord , you can hike, and do some whale watching at certain times in the season ,people are very joyful ,very warm place ideal for any vacationers. Highly recommended

Cute bar. Generally pretty clean and 24h check in so we showed up at 1am and called prior so they gave us the codes for accessing everything in advance. Close to the national park.

Matelas confortable, chambre très propre et excellent service. Le resto bar rattaché est vraiment bien; bonne nourriture, bière locale et bon service.
