One of the few places in Quebec where you can safely approach bears in the wild in Sacré-Coeur.
One of the few places in Quebec where you can safely approach bears in the wild. Departure is two hours before dusk on a school bus, followed by a short two-minute walk to the observation post. A naturalist guide is present to share his knowledge of the magnificent black bear. Reservations are required to guarantee a spot. Lodging is available on site at the Maison du Domaine (4 rooms available year round).

We observed bears over the evening, in good conditions.
We saw 3 of them successively, in a total silence on behalf of watchers!
Bus from the schoolchildren to the site is typical.
Squirrels that challenge bears to catch the doughnuts are very chic.
Very good memory of this beautiful evening observation.
