SUZANNA CLARKE
Suzanna Clarke is the owner of Dar Malika, a guest house in the medina of Fez. She and her husband, Sandy McCutcheon, are both writers and photographers. They bought and restored a riad in 2005, which became the subject of Suzanna's book, "A House in Fez". In 2018, they bought their second house, Dar Malika, which had previously been opened as a guest house by an Australian friend. Since becoming owners, they have refreshed the decor and added a few luxury touches. Dar Malika offers breakfast and dinner on request, as well as a variety of snacks and drinks. They can also arrange transportation, guided tours of the medina and activities such as cooking or craft classes. Suzanna is also involved with the Medina Children's Library in Fez.
