The lobby is welcoming, the rooms are furnished properly and the bed linen is clean, most of the time. You don't lose your check before you commit. French toilets, outdoor showers for 12 DH. An address especially valid for troubleshooting or for those who only wish to pay the bare minimum.

Hello everyone!

I must bring my opinion on Hotel Kairouan. First of all, I chose this hotel for the price (around Dh70 for a single room) and especially for the proximity to the station Fez (about 5 minutes on foot. Before talking about the rooms, I will want to say when you pay DH70 for a room, it is obvious that you will not have a deluxe room, on this point I have it already.
Good let us continue... Including says very well the elegant one; the lobby is welcoming, that means that when you enter, you have the impression of being in a decent hotel. It is true that the staff is very pleasant, and for me it is important.

Now I speak rooms. Single rooms do not have a shower, so if you want to take a shower, you should go next to the hotel. " Kairouan" showers;. A shower will cost you DH12. The water is warm and system is eco-friendly, meaning that they do not use a gas trunks and olive trees. I serious...

Another interesting thing, you are not obliged to leave the hotel for you shower, because the receptionist of the hotel makes you enter " the Kairouan" shower; by its door.

Let us back to the rooms: I strongly not room 19, because I had the feeling of being in a cell... I ensure that it is the truth. The completely dilapidated walls, tap did not function and over, bed was not clean. I did not almost there the eye of the night. I asked to change room, and the cleaning lady (I will speak again it later), subject to payment, me room 14. For basic, I will say that room 14 is less worse than 19, but it was nevertheless complicated sleep.

Now I speak cleaning lady; you should know that during my 5 nights in this hotel, my room was never cleaned, I included later that if you have nothing to cleaning lady; it will not make the room ...... Without forgetting that every morning it comes to ask you little bit Personally ..... it is the first time that I have that in Morocco.

To finish I must talk about the toilet. The toilets are outdoor and it is true that they are French toilet, but I believe that they have being cleaned for the last time in March 1998 .....

To sum up, I do not recommend this hotel, but if you do not want to spend too much money, and whether you are alone; and you only come to sleep, then this hotel you can " dépanner".

I can not finish without giving a good note. It is true that in the street you will find all: bakery, delicatessen, coffee, restaurant, etc... But I believe that the tea room is no more.
