The location could not have been better chosen to install the first museum specialising in woodworking arts and crafts: an old 18th century caravanserai, magnificently restored and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the three levels, one discovers the know-how and dexterity of the craftsmen through several examples of use of Moroccan woods, on different themes. On the first floor, masterpieces of Fassie cabinet making are on display. Possibility to have a drink on the terrace, which reveals a beautiful view of the medina.

Part of the complex Nejjarine (composed of the fondouk, fountain and souks there adjoining), the fondouk Nejjarine is most beautiful fondouk restored of the medina (others are undergoing restoration but not accessible to the public). It is spread over 4 floors (the ground floor, 1st and 2nd floors being dedicated to exhibitions relating to the crafts of wood = lintels and pieces of wood dating back to the XII and XIIèmes centuries). The upper floor gives access to a terrace where it is possible to cool off. The gateway to the remarkable fondouk and is overlooked by an awning made of carved wood. The entrance fee to this fondounk passed through a DH20 person.
