The village of Bahlil, north of Sefrou, is a pretty troglodyte village with a peaceful, authentic atmosphere, and sloping streets
The Berber village of Bhalil, whose name means "the charm of the night", is located 5 km north of Sefrou. With its hillside houses, it's like being at the end of the world! It's a very pretty troglodyte village, with lime-painted dwellings in pastel shades of pink, blue and yellow. The atmosphere is peaceful and authentic, and the inhabitants have preserved their traditional way of life. The sloping streets follow the course of the canalized wadi. You can ask to visit one of the forty troglodytic houses.
