Souks, in Tiznit, offering the most beautiful jewels of the South, even of Morocco.
They stretch from the Méchouar to the ramparts, which support the jewellers' souk. It's said that some of the finest jewelry in the South, and even in Morocco, is made here. You'll find daggers and pendants, all decorated with semi-precious stones and enamels. However, these souks are not particularly attractive to tourists. Instead, we recommend a visit to the old mosque where the jewelry sold in the souks is made. Here, craftsmen can show you the different manufacturing processes.
