BOUZERZE COOPERATIVE

This is a small cooperative of 126 women who produce carpets and products based on argan oil, one of the specialties of Morocco's Deep South. Women's cooperatives have existed in Morocco for almost half a century, promoting the financial development of women who are sometimes withdrawn from the economic life of their region. Often rural, uneducated and with little time on their hands, the women involved in these cooperatives find a way to express themselves. The address is not easy to find.
