One of the oldest districts of Taroudant, a site that allows you to discover the leading role of the tanners for the city.

From the place Al Alaouyine (ex-place Assarag), go straight from the Taroudant hotel to the Taghount gate, turn left (sign "la Tannerie"). The tanneries are closed on Fridays. The district of the tanners is one of the oldest districts of the city and lets imagine the preponderant role of this trade in the universe of Taroudant. Some guides will take you by scooter to the tannery basins, to the stores selling animal skins. An essential detour is necessary to understand the importance of the tannery in Morocco.
