Visit to discover remarkable rock engravings at Amtoudi, a site to learn more about the prehistory of the region.

There are many in the area near Amtoudi, the easiest to access being located a few kilometers from the village, on the right. Very beautiful representations, rather well preserved, of giraffes, lions and especially elephants which give an idea of what was the prehistory in this region now deprived of mammals of this calibre. A real treasure hunt to get there, you can easily get there on foot by anchoring the objective of the engravings as the highlight of your walk. Interesting and out of the ordinary.
