Waterfalls that fall down a 40 m high cliff and hide some of the oldest fossils in the world.
Nicknamed the Niagara Falls of the North, Kakabeka Falls plunges down a 40-metre-high cliff and hides some of the oldest fossils in the world. Admire the landscape by walking or cross-country skiing along the platforms along the edge of the gorge. Follow the route once used by travellers to bypass the falls in this historically rich park. Camping with or without services (mid-May to mid-October) and shop on site.
