The new station building, located in the centre of the city, close to the Nizhnyazsci Prospect, was inaugurated at the end of December 2000 and can accommodate more than 7,000 passengers. It is the main railway junction in Minsk and one of the largest in Eastern Europe. From here trains leave for all destinations in Belarus and for Berlin, Vienna, Paris, Warsaw, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Odessa, Riga, Vilnius, Kaliningrad.
