In operation since July 1984, the metro consists of two lines, Moskovskaja (blue, northeast to southwest) and Avtozavodskaja (red, southeast to west) which intersect at the Kastryčnickaja-Kupalaŭskaja stop. Trains run every 3-4 minutes from 5:30am to 1am, and every 2 minutes during peak hours, with a 10-minute interval between one train and the next after 11pm. A third line, under construction, is expected to open in 2021, and a fourth line is under consideration with a possible opening date of 2027.
