CHURCH OF ST. JOSEPH (КОСТЁЛ ИОСИФА КОСТЁЛ)
Baroque Catholic church built in the 17th century, now home to the Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Spirit.
This Catholic church is part of a monumental complex belonging to the Bernardins order, which also includes a monastery and the convent church now housing the Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. The convent no longer exists. Built in the 17thcentury , the complex is Baroque in style. In 1864, the Bernardins order was banned and the church was transformed into a literary archive. Every evening, a silent protest takes place in front of the church to demand the building's return to the Catholic faith.
