INDEPENDENCE PERSPECTIVE (ПРОСПЕКТ ПРОСПЕКТ)
This gigantic 15 km prospect cut the city in two, on a south-west/northeast axis. This is Minsk's main street where the state administration buildings, the National Library, the university, the Academy of Sciences, and a multitude of restaurants, cafes, hotels, museums and theatres are concentrated. It is a monumental monument of Soviet architecture, a harmonious set in the so-called «Stalinist empire». Built in the early 1950 th century, it was severely damaged during the Second World War, which forced its reconstruction in the s. On the perspective there are five places: Niezaliežnasci, Kastryčnickaja, Pobedy, Jakuba Kolasa and Kalinina. Many green areas surround it.

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
Beyond architecture lacks imagination of the buildings, one is dismayed by the absence of vehicle traffic, and this at all times of the day
Unusual, almost surreal atmosphere!
