On the other side of the street, near the castle of the Counts Pulskovski is the wooden house where, on 12 February 1746, born Tadeusz Kostiuszko, leader of the patriotic insurrection of 1794. Burned in 1944, it was rebuilt on its old foundations. Today we visit the museum dedicated to the life of Kostiuszko.
