SAVIECKAJA STREET (СОВЕТСКАЯ СОВЕТСКАЯ)
The Savieckaja street is an essential part of a visit to Grodno. It is surrounded by beautiful buildings of the th and th centuries, through which the history of the city is discovered. At No. 1 lived the Sanguszko family, descendants of the Ghédimin. An apartment in No. 23 belonged to the Belarusian painter Alfred Romer. At the premises of No. 8 was the school of Dominicans, and later the seat of the Communist Party. Today you can find shops, cafes and restaurants in this street and, of course, a warm and even careless atmosphere that makes it even more pleasant to visit.
