Once this place had the place square of the Palace. He was the palace of Antoni Tyzenhaus, treasurer of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Seigneur de Grodno. The palace no longer exists, but there are other constructions. You'll find the famous oficina krivaja, a semi-circle house where Tyzenhaus set up its music school, still active today. On the other side of Dziaržynskaha Street you can see the famous theatre of the opera and ballet Tyzenhaus, now a puppet theatre.
