DROUIA (ДРУЯ)
Surrounded by green hills, the village of Drouïa is 35 km from Enterprise, on the border with Latvia, where the river Drouïa joins the western Dvina. The village is not part of the park's territory, but it certainly deserves a detour. Founded at the end of the th century, Drouïa was part of the principality of Polotsk. From its past, it has the same decadent charm that exists in many communities in Belarus. His monuments remind her interfaith past. The Catholic church of the Trinity (костёл Святой Тройцы) of the th century can be visited, the remains of the Orthodox Church of the Annunciation (Благовещенская церковь), as well as those of the former synagogue. There is also one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in the early th century. In the city centre you can finally see a Boris stone, identical to that of the Cathedral of Sainte-Sophie de Polotsk.
