ST. JOHNS ANGLICAN CATHEDRAL
The largest Anglican church in Central America, with stained glass windows, organ and mahogany pews
This is the first church built in the British colony of Honduras, and the largest Anglican church in Central America (though it only looks like a small neighbourhood church). Construction began in 1812, and was completed in 1820 thanks to the import of bricks from England. Many services are still held in the cathedral, so it's best to ask permission before entering to contemplate its stained glass windows or organ.
