Casino Central de Mar del Plata is certainly one of the strongest symbols of the city. Designed in 1938 by the famous Argentine architect Alejandro Bustillo who rebuilt the Rambla Bristol completely. The casino had its golden age in the years 1960-1970, before opening several competitors across the country, including Buenos Aires.
