Tudor-style water tower, 88 m high, very medieval, massive and still in operation, listed as a Monument Historique
For those who want to take a little height and enjoy a nice panorama on the city, the view is beautiful from the top of the 88 meters of the tower. This water tower, still in operation, of 500 m³ of water, inaugurated in 1943, was built in the Tudor style by the architect Cornelio Lange, very medieval and massive. It is the symbol of the access to water for the city of Mar del Plata. Nowadays it is classified as a Historical Monument. You can choose to climb the tower by the stairs and its 194 steps, or by the elevator.
