Local buses cross the city from north to south. A bus every 15 minutes on Avenida 3. A bus every 30 minutes to Monterincón. Buses to Mar Azul leave from the bus terminal every 15 minutes. Although the buses sometimes look a bit old, they are comfortable. We use his SUBE magnetic card.
