The first stone of the present Romanesque style parish church was laid in 1841. Although completed as early as 1851, the church is only consecrated in 1864. The interior houses several precious objects of art: an oil table by Joseph Probst entitled the Ardent Bush, an African sculpture Shona, a beautiful organ of choir of eight and a half games and several remarkable windows representing among others a panorama of Ettelbrück.
