HOLY CROSS CHAPEL
Symbol of the city, the Holy Cross Chapel has watched over the inhabitants of the city since 1737. The majestic stone cross placed in the apse is its centrepiece. The building that can be admired today was built - or rebuilt - in 1737, as indicated on the stone above the entrance door. Three Stations of the Cross (1627, 1875 and 1956) along the way are known. In 1956, the Holy Cross Mountain and its chapel were declared Monument to the Dead of the Town of Grevenmacher. Since 2015, the complex has been classified as a national monument.
