The Huelen Zant (which means "hollow tooth" in French) is one of the remains of the city's fortifications, which included four gates and 28 towers. This angular tower once formed the northern corner of the enclosure. It was remarkably restored in 2002, on the occasion of the 750th anniversary of the handing over of the franchise letter to the town of Grevenmacher by Henry V.
