In 1889, Pierre Ernster, author of school books, opened his own bookstore in downtown Luxembourg, which is still in business today. Fernand Ernster joined the company in 1984. He strongly developed the company, notably by installing a new store in 1988 in a shopping center, in the Belle Étoile. In 2018, Paul, one of the family's sons, joined the family business. Today, the group has a total of 10 sites, adapted to the new desires of consumers and employs a hundred employees. And this is always in family.
