LA PHILHARMONIE
Home to the Philharmonic Orchestra, it is as impressive on the outside as it is on the inside (especially the Grand Auditorium).
Inaugurated in June 2005 and designed by the architect Christian de Portzampac, this hall resembles by far a large white organ placed on the Kirchberg plateau. It is the residence of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Gustavo Gimeno. Designed to offer optimal acoustic quality, the Grand Auditorium can accommodate up to 1,500 people, while the chamber music room can hold up to 300. The discovery area hosts a wide variety of musical events. Possibility of a guided tour of the premises.
