Founded in 1973 and housed since 1985 in a sumptuous cellar in the historic center, this theater was renovated in 2005 to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The small-capacity auditorium offers a very intimate atmosphere in the exposed stone basement. With almost 130 theatrical performances per season, it's one of the city's most dynamic theaters. The Théâtre du Centaure offers a contemporary program, and has revisited over 100 works from the classical repertoire by contemporary French, German and Luxembourg artists.
