BEACH VOLLEY

Beach volleyball in Luxembourg has been embodied for almost ten years by two queens of the discipline: Norma Zambon and Jeanne Schneider. They have been able to compose a national women's team active since 2003 and to develop this sport in a country whose climate resembles that of the Californian beaches of Santa Monica, where this sport was born in the s. To date, 120 followers are engaged in discipline with two women teams and a male team. The trainings are adapted according to the seasons. In summer, the team meets 3 to 4 times a week, under wind or rain. In winter, physical preparation is the honor.
