It is said to be the most beautiful balcony in Europe! The Corniche Path offers a splendid view of the citadel, the Neumünster Abbey and the entire lower town of Grund. The walk starts from the plateau of the Holy Spirit and extends along the ramparts to the rocky promontory of the Bock, where Count Sigefroi had a castle built in 963, at the heart of the future fortress of Luxembourg. The old fortifications, dismantled after the Treaty of London (1867), offer a unique view of the Alzette and Petrusse valleys.

En parcourant ce chemin sinueux qui monte et descend, on se rend mieux compte de la géographie particulière de la cité et de son histoire. On déambule ou on s'arrête à sa guise en profitant de ces vues romantiques sans se soucier du temps qui passe.
