It is said to be the most beautiful balcony in Europe! The Chemin de la Corniche offers splendid views of the citadel, Neumünster Abbey and the entire lower Grund town. The walk starts at the Saint-Esprit plateau and stretches along the ramparts to the rocky promontory of the Bock, where Count Sigefroi had a castle built in 963, at the heart of the future Luxembourg fortress. The old fortifications, dismantled after the Treaty of London (1867), offer a unique view of the Alzette and Pétrusse valleys.

quel bonheur cette petite balade sur le chemin de la corniche. La vue est splendide, la promenade est romantique, on a passé un bon moment en amoureux. Ce n'est pas de tout repos, ça monte parfois très fort, mais cela en vaut la peine! Une belle découverte
