When you're on the fence about what to have for dinner, Italian restaurants usually make up for it. The "La Cucinetta" restaurant is a sure bet. It offers excellent Italian dishes revisited by chef Aldo Germanetto. Out of love for his mountain restaurant, this Piedmontese chef travels back and forth between Belo Horizonte and Lavras Novas. Asparagus soup, penne with Gorgonzola cheese and spaghetti Bolognese are all served here. The cellar offers fine Chilean, Italian, Argentinean and Portuguese wines.
