Two pousadas run by the monks offer simple and varied accommodation (from small houses to imperial suites) within the beautiful Sanctuary do Caraça. In this 1774 Franciscan monastery-college, which used to welcome pilgrims, tranquillity is guaranteed. Very good mineira restaurant, with a gargantuan breakfast. Research center, museum and catacombs within the Sanctuary. Days and evenings here are bound to be magical.
