For Urumqi, departures every day at p. m. (K 9788) and p. m. (K 9774). Take 19 hours.

As is the case everywhere on the north shore of the desert, train tickets are very difficult to find, especially in the approach of the big market of Kasghar on Sunday… Sometimes it is good not to stop, at the risk of being blocked several days…
