COURSE ALENÇON-MÉDAVY
Go there and contact
One of the mythical races of Normandy, with a demanding course that finishes at one of the highest points of the region.
This trail is a sporting highlight in the region, thanks to its atypical route. Competitors set off from the prefectural town of Orléans towards the Écouves forest for a total distance of 15.5 km. Don’t exert too much effort: while the first ten kilometers or so are fairly easy, the last 5, entirely in the forest, are on the sometimes steep slopes for which the event is famous, with the finish at the Médavy crossroads, a magical place to end this race, at an altitude of almost 400 meters! Beware, it can get cold at the end of March.
