COMMERCIAL COURT
An administrative institution whose Salle des Pas Perdus, Grand Hall, and Square Tower are listed historic monuments.
Another administrative institution in Alençon which has the privilege of occupying an outstanding building. This granite construction dates from the fifteenth century. The registry, the porch, as well as the spare room, the large hall and the square tower are classified in the additional inventory of Historic Monuments. Honoré de Balzac, who briefly stayed in Alençon, would have been inspired by this building for one of his novels.
