Orne Terroirs has existed since 1996, under the guidance of the Chamber of Agriculture. It is now a network of 140 members and 335 farmers and artisanal products that value the flavours of the country in a collective approach of quality, including thirty products of controlled or protected origin. Farmers, craftsmen, restaurateurs and shops are involved in a triple objective: promoting Orne’s products, professionalising local businesses and improving product quality, making local products more accessible to consumers. Every year a beautiful and very interesting small guide of these producers and their products is edited. You can find it easily in tourist offices and in direct sales farms.
