Restored church with Byzantine facade and nave illuminated by a rose window and stained glass by Lorin.
Dominating the city with its 60-metre-high steeples, the church, restored in 2023, was built in 1852 on the site of a Romanesque church, of which the tower remains. The Byzantine-style facade, covered in a checkerboard mosaic of white stone, brick and local blue granite, highlights the tympanum, which is teeming with masks and gargoyles. Inside, discover the nave illuminated by stained-glass windows by Lorin in Chartres, paintings and an altarpiece dating from 1868. The crypt houses a Trésorama featuring a collection of Catholic religious objects.
