An old keep in Argentan, a southwestern remnant of the fortress built in 1123 by Henry I Beauclerc.
Southwestern vestige of the fortress built in 1123 by Henri Ier Beauclerc, king of England and duke of Normandy. It was the main piece of a vast defensive system and was, with the sixteen towers, a protective bulwark for the citadel.
