Perfectly located, just 2 minutes from the ferry landing stage, this is one of the only true youth hostels on the island. The facilities are recent, the dormitories and bathrooms simple but clean. As for the private rooms, they are pleasant (but much more expensive). Young and friendly atmosphere. The big plus of this hostel is the wooden deck overlooking the sea, with comfortable armchairs for watching the sunset... there's no doubt that La Hamaca will soon become one of the favorite addresses of backpackers visiting Utila.
