A small, family-friendly waterfront hotel, which is now a combination of two buildings, the Kayla (9 rooms) and the Kayla II (4 rooms). It's located on Jewel Cay, about 30 minutes by boat from the village of Utila. The rooms are comfortable, with sea views and sunbathing on the wooden deck. Fully equipped, with hot water and Internet. You'll be offered coffee or tea every morning. Note that there's also a convenient diving center. A good place to stop for a while!
