SOKOL GRAD (SOKOL KULA)
Fortress dominating the village of Dunave, known when it belonged to the Count of Bosnia. Walkway with a panoramic view.
Well signposted from the Gruda roundabout, this fortress dominates the village of Dunave. To get there, you have to take a road that climbs up and then continue on foot up some steep steps. The fortress, which already existed in Roman times, was first mentioned at the end of the 13th century, when it belonged to the Count of Bosnia. It was conquered by the Republic of Ragusa in 1420 and has been very well restored: the ramparts, the walkway with a superb panoramic view and the hall with the coat of arms
