DOMINICAN MONASTERY OF SAINT-NICOLAS
Monastery and pre-Romanesque church with late Renaissance facade and bell tower dating from 1482, renovated by German students.
Restored by German students, the monastery and the church of St. Nicholas dating from 1482 are once again magnificent buildings, whereas a few years ago they were seriously damaged. The original pre-Romanesque church now has a beautiful late Renaissance façade and a 30 m high bell tower. The church contained the painting of the Annunciation by Nikola Božidarević (1460-1517), which is now in the Dominican Museum in Dubrovnik.
