ĐORĐIĆ-MAYNERI GARDEN (PERIVOJ ĐORĐIĆ-MAYNERI)
A seafront garden dating back to the late century, the time of the Venetian Count Felice Mayneri, who "invested in green".
This fragrant, relaxing garden facing the sea was commissioned at the end of the 15th century by the Venetian Count Felice Mayneri, who preferred to invest in green rather than stone! The garden surrounds a villa lined with avenues of eucalyptus, cedar, lavender and other exotic species, totalling some 13,000m2. The villa has been converted into a boutique hotel, but the garden is open to the public. In 2023, the city of Dubrovnik has embarked on a project to renovate the garden.
