Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge
The Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge is a protected area dedicated to local wildlife.
Created in 1972, the Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge is a protected area of nearly 390 hectares, dedicated to the local fauna and flora. Aquatic and migratory birds, fish, sea turtles, sharks: here is a non exhaustive list of its inhabitants. If you can only hope to see birds - and sometimes a few sea turtles - during the monthly walking tours, a visit presents an opportunity to learn about the preservation of species.
