If you want to taste dim sum - small steamed ravioli - worthy of the best Hong Kong restaurants, this is the chain for you. The preparations are of a rare finesse, the flavors fragrant, flowery, surprising... From noodles to wontons, every dish is a success. What's more, while the desserts are far from traditional, the way they are revisited is highly successful, with chocolate and mochi xiaolongbaos topping the list. You'll also find addresses in Costa Mesa, Los Angeles and San Diego.

We were the last table to be seated at DTF and got an outdoor seating at this Glendale location. We got straight to ordering because the kitchen was about to close, and were rushed into ordering our cocktails and had to get our second rounds with the first one itself. While it definitely felt rushed, we were looking forward to the food.
Our order included String Beans with Garlic, Hot & Sour Soup (Vegetarian), Vegan Spicy Wontons, Noodles with Sesame Sauce, and Vegetable & Mushroom Fried Rice. DTF definitely lived up to it's hype of being one of the best Taiwanese restaurants I've been to. The food was very flavorful, and had many complex notes! The Hot & Sour soup was delicious, and so were the Vegan wantons.
Service was rushed, noise levels on the lower end, and food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. Overall, a very good experience!

To anyone who has had DTF in Asia, this place is a travesty, disappointment, and tourist trap.

Jason, our server made the experience so much more valuable for my first time here. Fine Asian dining at its best! Sesame noodles, string beans and the amazing Xioa Long Bao are all highly recommended.
The spicy wontons....sooo good!
Lychee Martini delish!
